Planted a mystery box last weekend..... good luck :) "The Elements of
Hiking"
"Thirds" (the third type of box we've planted, third element to carve a
stamp, placed on the 3rd day of the 3rd month)
Placed on 3/3/01
"You must visit the blue jays as they dart about. Even more abundant
are yellow finches flying north to escape from summer's firey orange
sun. Turning uphill, you're gazing at something amazing, three owls in
pines. Don't try following the birds for the entire 20 miles. They
pace themselves. Falling behind, watch for four boulders. The trunk of
the tree has carvings on it. They're left as your TREASURE.

Enclosed are the clues for the first of a series of Mystery Wolf
Letterboxes. I plan to hide a box in each state that will be located in a site
that has some reference to the wolf. The one enclosed is located in
Connecticut.

lonemasswolf,
We can't wait to go find
your new box! We were actually at that location last Saturday and thought
it would be a really great place to hide a box! I'm sure everyone will
love to see the den. Luckily, no wolves were at home when we were
there!
